This way, you know you get what you and your kids like AND you can save a pretty penny.
We take bagels, buns or english muffins and cut them in half. Spread about a tablespoon or so of pizza sauce on them and let them put whatever toppings they want on top. WAY cheaper (and healthier, IMO) than the "bagel bites" and the kids have sooo much fun doing them! We pop them in the toaster oven (but the reg oven or micro would work too) and then are done in about 5-8 minutes. Serve with a side salad or raw veggies w/dip and presto....meal is done and kids got to help!
