We use a LOT of wash rags/dish towels here (lots of kids = lots of spills!). I NEVER buy them though - I LOVE soft and fluffy ones (ie: absorbent!) so I make my own. When you've been married for 10+ years, some of your bath towels may be thinning a little. These make PERFECT washrags or dish towels. Cut them to the size and shape that you want layer two pieces on top of each other and surge or sew the edges together - the double thickness makes them super absorbent and allows the kids to clean up their own messes - without using 20 paper towels! :)
Just throw in with your regular laundry and "reduce, recycle, reuse!!"
