Candle Care

We love to burn candles in our house.

Here is a list of candle do's and don'ts

~soy candles work well for those that suffer from allergies

~keep un-used candles in a cool place to prevent melting due to extreme temperatures

~keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 of an inch to prevent black smoke

~when using votive candles, use a holder that is about the size of the candle (not too wide) to prevent pooling, and thus, waste

~need to remove wax from votives? Pop it into the freezer for a few minutes and it should pop right out.

~candle wax removed from votives can be used in tart warmers/candle warmers
