We put new hardwood floors in our house last summer. For awhile, we bought the fancy (ie: EXPENSIVE!!) specialty cleaners - until I realized I was probably paying for mostly water - not to mention who knows WHAT chemicals!!
So, here's the "Floor cleaner" that we now use:
~Fill empty spray bottle with water to within one inch from the top.
~Add 1-4 drops (yes, NO MORE, or it will suds!) Dawn dish soap.
~Swirl gently to blend and use.
Because of the Dawn, this cuts even the nasty kitchen grease!
