Does all of the recent snow make your car shudder? (LITERALLY?)
Make your car run more efficiently by making sure that all of the wheel wells are clean of any snow or ice build up. This will stop your car from shaking and shuddering as you drive down the road or as you make turns (better for gas mileage too!).
Also: in the winter time, leave your car's engine "warm up" by letting it run for 5 minutes or so before you are ready to leave - before shifting it into gear, let it idle in neutral for a second, this gives the fluids time to circulate into the transmission to warm up easier
