Kitchen tool

Have you seen these little wonders? YES, I have two of them. They are shot-glass measuring cups. I LOVE them - they are one of my favorite kitchen tools (well, of the smaller variety!) They cost about $1 at Walmart. As you can see, they measure Tablespoon, Teaspoon and Ounces - they also work great for hubby older kids to take their meds!

What's YOUR favorite kitchen tool?

  1. I love my new slidable measuring cup. (I am not sure what else to call it.) It is great for measuring things like peanut butter and ketchup. You fill it up, and push in the bottom and out comes everything. It is great!

  2. This looks like a neat tool! However, I'm not sure my hubby would let me keep it with my baking stuff, he'd probably keep stealing it and insisting it's 'his' shot glass! LOL!!!

  3. I've heard of people using medicine cups to do this, but I like the idea of a shotglass much better! I'll have to keep my eyes out for one of these. What you'd save on the vanilla you don't spill on the counter would pay for one in no time, LOL!
Hmmm, favorite kitchen tool? I have to pick one? Okay, for small things I would say my wide-mouthed funnel. It's meant for canning, but I use it along with a fine-mesh strainer to put broth into jars. My big favorite 'toy' is hands-down my Kitchenaid Stand mixer!

  4. They are so cute! Will definitely have to add them to my shot glasses, hehe.

  5. At least one of these would be GREAT! I love my measuring devices for the kitchen and this little guy will be a blessing to add to my crew of measurements. I did not know that Wal-mart carried them. I'll add it to my list for next time needs! My favorite kitchen tool is my chicken egg separator. It sounds like a joke tool but works great for separating whites from yolks and a lot less messy! Try one, you'd like it!
