We had another fantastic weekend with friends this weekend. While scouring the internet for new foods to make, I came across a Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe. I found the original recipe here, so feel free to take a look.
When I read through the recipe though, I knew that it would not be made according to direction - 3/4 of a cup of hot sauce??? YIKES!!! No way! Besides -you all know me - I can NEVER leave a recipe alone - I love to make it my own.
Here's my version:
2 cans of chicken
2 (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup ranch dressing
1/4 -1/3 cup hot sauce
1 1/2 cup sour cream
2 tsp chives
2 tsp garlic powder
Mix all ingredients and put in crock pot. Leave on low all day, stirring as it gets eaten. Serve with - anything: bread, celery, crackers....
Watch it disappear!
