Crock-pot Potato Chowder

The days are getting colder here in WI - we wake up to frost on the ground and highs in the mid 50's.

SOUP TIME!!! Yes, I suppose that you can eat soup in the middle of summer...but here, soups and chowders are comfort foods.

Here I took some red potatoes and ham that were given to me, added a can of corn, chopped onions and seasonings to taste. A little bit of milk and a can of cream of mushroom soup - that's it!!  Put all ingredients in your crock pot and cook on low about 6 hours (par-boil the potatoes for faster cooking) or until potatoes are fork tender. Easy and filling!
